What to do⏱ 5–10 min
Objective
Give real weight to both “why” and “solution” in your structure.
Steps
- Read the explanation and the weak vs improved example.
- Complete the short task in your own words (3–5 sentences unless stated).
Two-part prompts
⏱ ~7 min · WT2
Prompt: “Many young people leave rural areas. Why is this? What solutions can you suggest?”
Weak: 250 words on causes, one vague sentence on solutions.
Improved: §1 causes (with example). §2 solutions (linked to those causes). Short conclusion.
Reflection
- Write a five-sentence outline only: thesis + 2 causes + 2 solutions (one sentence each line).
Self-check
- You addressed only this one problem.
- You produced a new example, not copied text.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Listing causes without suggesting any solution.
- Suggesting solutions that do not connect to the causes given.
