5–10 min
Read 8 of 10

What to do⏱ 5–10 min

Objective

Give real weight to both “why” and “solution” in your structure.

Steps

 1. Read the explanation and the weak vs improved example.
 2. Complete the short task in your own words (3–5 sentences unless stated).

Two-part prompts

⏱ ~7 min · WT2

Prompt: “Many young people leave rural areas. Why is this? What solutions can you suggest?”

Weak: 250 words on causes, one vague sentence on solutions.

Improved: §1 causes (with example). §2 solutions (linked to those causes). Short conclusion.

Reflection
 • Write a five-sentence outline only: thesis + 2 causes + 2 solutions (one sentence each line).

Self-check

 • You addressed only this one problem.
 • You produced a new example, not copied text.

Common mistakes to avoid

 • Listing causes without suggesting any solution.
 • Suggesting solutions that do not connect to the causes given.
