Show, don’t only label

⏱ ~6 min · Speaking

Weak: “The restaurant was nice and the food was delicious.”

Improved: “It was a small Italian place — I remember the smell of garlic bread when we walked in.”

Reflection
 • Topic: “Describe a meal you enjoyed.” Add one smell, sound, or sight detail in two sentences.

Self-check

 • You addressed only this one problem.
 • You produced a new example, not copied text.

Common mistakes to avoid

 • Only adjectives: nice/good/beautiful.
 • Inventing extreme details you cannot sustain.
